Swift Sport Challenge Fully Aligned? Absolutely!
Absolute Alignment is delighted to announce that it has become a technical partner to the Swift Sport Challenge for 2025. It’s an association that will offer notable benefits to all competitors on the grid, adding to the list of what makes Absolute Alignment's partnerships more than just "sponsorship".
The team from Absolute Alignment will be present at a number of the 2025 SSC events, with a dedicated paddock space and all the kit required to allow registered competitors the chance to set up their car with professional equipment and expert guidance, thereby eliminating the cost of owning their own setup tools. With maximum geometry limits already set to be included in SSC regulations to maintain development control, this essential addition will offer a notable time and cost saving for all competitors.
That's not all though, as the specialist equipment from Absolute Alignment will be utilised for a feature that adds to the Swift Sport Challenge ethos of reducing the 'Cost To Be Competitive' whilst increasing the openness of data at club level and reducing the incentive for expensive testing. After selected races and alongside post-race scrutineering checks, the top three finishers will be required to use Absolute Alignment's market-leading equipment for mandatory measurement of their car's complete geometry and damper setup - and this information will be freely available to all other registered SSC competitors.
Absolute Alignment's Technical Director, Chris Dear, comments: "We are really happy to set up this unique partnership with the Swift Sport Challenge. It's very much to promote our motor sport ethos - correct set up is 'free power'! Drivers often spend a fortune looking for that elusive extra few BHP from their engine, but omit a simple alignment check that can transform even the straight line performance of their car, let alone its cornering prowess."
Absolute Alignment wants to help anyone on track or road get optimum performance. "We're using motor sport to reinforce our message to road drivers," continues Chris. "Remember the PTA - Pressure, Tread and Alignment. On the track or on the road, look after the basics."
