Absolute Alignment Raises Customer Service Bar with Free Remote Support
Absolute Alignment, Britain’s leading wheel alignment equipment suppliers, has raised the customer service bar in response to the Covid-19 pandemic by offering free remote “Quick Support” upgrades for all new customers. Technical Director Chris Dear said:
“Since the first lockdown we have been fitting a free wi-fi module on all our wheel aligners. This gives us the facility to offer contact-free software support over the internet.”
Absolute Alignment’s Technical Team will be able to diagnose and, in most cases, fix software problems without needing to visit the customer’s premises. The new procedures also offer a faster service as Technical Team representatives don’t lose time driving to a customer’s premises.
“From the very start we knew we had to do something to reduce contact,” continued Chris. “The vast majority of our service call outs are to Windows-related problems anyway, and we decided that the health risk outweighed the extra cost to us of the Wi-Fi modules. To be able to give a better service and be more secure seems like a win/win situation to us!”
